Khasab meaning fertility is a quaint town lying at the base of Wadi Khasab and is the capital of Musandam. It overlooks the pristine waters of Gulf of Oman and the Straits of Hormuz.

Enjoy an early morning drive to Khasab via Ras Al Khaimah. After crossing the boarder into Khasab the drive in itself is part of the experience along the scenic coastal route where the road is flanked by picturesque mountain scenery on one side and panoramic sea vistas on the other side. On arrival at the bustling Khasab harbour, board a traditional Omani wooden dhow for a full day leisurely cruise to the scenic, spectacular and tranquil ‘Khor Sham’, a sheltered 17 kms. long fjord. The mountains seemingly rise out of the sea & reflect back on the water. The cruise sails past Bedouin villages with old stone houses. We anchor at the historic ‘Telegraph Island’ and Seebi Island. The Telegraph Island was a station along the telegraph cable that linked London to Iraq’s southern city of Basra and onwards to Bombay. Enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the clear inviting waters at the Telegraph Island. The highlight of the trip is Dolphin watching, as inquisitive, friendly and playful ‘wild bottle nosed’ and ‘spinner Dolphins’ swim alongside the Dhow and can delight lucky visitors with displays of aerial acrobatics. Refreshments & lunch served on board. Late afternoon sail back to the Khasab harbour.
